The Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Industry and Commerce (DTIC) will be hosting a virtual trade and Investment seminar on 9th and 10th July, 2020 under the theme: “Developing Afrocentric solutions and forging partnership in response to COVID-19”.
The main objective of the event is to forge partnerships between the Zambian and South-African private and public sectors with particular focus on the following sectors; transport, mining , energy, agriculture and financial services.
The seminar will have a Business to Business session to allow for businesses from both countries to discuss possibilities of partnerships.
The Department of Trade, Industry and Commerce have mobilized a total of 130 South African companies to participate in the B2B meetings.
On the other hand, the Zambia Development Agency is mobilizing the private sector from the Zambian side to participate in this mission and business to business meeting with their South African counterparts.
